The walnut sponge is soaked with rum, which brings both aroma and moisture. Over it goes a thick chocolate and nougat cream. It is a rich slice, made for a strong coffee.

We grind the walnuts coarsely right before mixing the batter – ground nuts lose their aroma fast.
