American Custard Slice
Cocoa sponge, egg-yolk buttercream and torched meringue.
Puff pastry, vanilla custard with fruit and whipped cream.
We bake the puff pastry until properly crisp so it does not soften under the cream. The sheet is spread with vanilla custard folded with pieces of fruit and covered with whipped cream. The top is decorated with fresh seasonal fruit.

The fruit follows the season – strawberries and raspberries in summer, pears and grapes in autumn.
