Shortcrust base, curd filling, apricot jam and meringue.
A shortcrust base is spread with apricot jam and topped with a delicate curd cheese filling. A second layer of jam follows, and the whole thing is crowned with meringue. The tang of the curd against apricot is what defines this Hungarian classic.
