The dough is stretched by hand until it is as thin and elastic as cloth. We spread it with juicy apples and cinnamon and roll it tightly into a log. At banquets we serve it cut into small pieces.

Strudel is served warm – that is when the pastry is at its crispest and the filling at its most fragrant.
